My initial intent was to have a woman sing this song but everyone kept saying that it was better for me to sing this song from a female point of view. This version reminds me of David Bowie's Hunky Dory album. Andrew's arrangement for the background vocals were really special. I always imagined that there was me and then five guys dressed like Andrew behind me doing doo-wop vocals. This song was written in Eden Mills.
