When the Central Hamilton Public Library first opened up a free and publicly accessible recording studio a few years ago, I tried to record this -and this is not that version!

I was enamored with the idea of making a record at the library. What a cool concept, right?? They now have various studios across the city at different branches.

Perhaps the funniest is the one closest to where I live. They set the "studio" in the middle of a children's section in a "fishbowl" classroom area that is not soundproofed, and so all of these parents with their kids could see me recording and hear every out-of-context sound I was making. It was interesting, to say the least!
