Clearly I selected to record this cover from Alice Cooper as it is an election year in the United States of America. It was super-fun to get my son Erik to come down to the library and sing his vocal parts and have him see how his old man was recording some of these tracks in the children's section of our local public library. Dan Konopka (OKGo) told me he had a lot of fun recording his drum parts in Los Angeles. Hopefully Alice Cooper will dig this fun, dirty, and raw interpretation of his great song. When I was a kid, my aunt and her then-husband were fans of Alice so this is also somewhat of a tribute to them.
