Paris of Love and Paris Amoureux are the same songs in English and French versions and are the follow-ups to the successful 2017 track Operators Are Standing By. Inspired by Mackenzie Kristjon's visit to Paris, France, the song alludes to the transience and power of love. In a heartbeat, anyone can fall in love and feel a lifetime all in one moment. And to a dancey rock beat!

The track was produced in Toronto, Ontario, by Mark Zubek (Zedd Records). Cort Pope sings along with Mackenzie Kristjon. The videos were directed by Simon Winterson at Digital Canaries in Hamilton, Ontario. The new videos are lively and demonstrate a joie de vivre to make you want to fall in love again and again. Special assistance with the French translation from Iris Gardet-Hadengue.

As a special added bonus, the demo for Country Roads is also included. This song is performed by Mackenzie Kristjon (vox/guitar/vibraphones), Gerald Taylor (bass), the late Jim Perry (drums), Sarah Honeyford (cello) and Olenka Krakus (background vocals).

Finally, our Björk-esque song How Beautiful It Is will be released for the first time. Recorded at the Monastereo in Guelph, Ontario, by Juno-nominated Andrew McPherson (eccodek), this atmospheric track also features Shoshanna J on background vocals.

Paris of Love et Paris Amoureux sont les deux versions d'une même chanson, en anglais et en français, et sont les suites du hit de 2017: Operators are Standing By.

Inspirée de la visite en France, à Paris, de Mackenzie Kristjon, la chanson évoque la fugacité et la force de l'amour. Dans un battement de coeur, chacun peut tomber amoureux et imaginer le reste de sa vie. Tout cela en un instant. Et se lancer dans un rock endiablé !
